Kate Chester grew up in Bar Harbor, Maine, lived in Boston where she received her academic background, and now resides in Jerusalem. Her work reflects the influence of different geographic and cultural landscapes and the spiritual passion for her heritage. Painting in acrylics, she seeks "to reveal the world beneath the surface of things which longs to be discovered." Her work has been exhibited in various galleries in the northeastern U.S. and is included in many private collections. She has been recognized by The Boston Globe, as well as other publications.
